In-patient and out-patient consultation.
Consultative services are provided daily by appointment for outpatients. Each new
patient will have a complete cardiac evaluation with prompt communication to the
referring physician. In-patient evaluation is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a
day by one of the cardiologists.

Full service echocardiography lab.
A Full array of echocardiography services are available on an in-patient and
out-patient basis. These services include 2-d echo, color Doppler, stress
echocardiograms, and trans-esophageal echocardiograms.

Nuclear Cardiology.
The services include exercise stress nuclear test and pharmacologic nuclear
studies and nuclear ventriculography.

Cardiac Catheterization.
Invasive studies are performed at Hahnemann University Hospital and Mercy
Fitzgerald Hospital. Right and left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary
angioplasty, intra-aortic balloon pump, intravascular ultrasound, and Doppler flow
wire coronary analysis are services available.

Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery.
The cardiologists are responsible for the management of the patient through the
peri-operative and convalescent period. The referring physician will be informed
of the patient’s progress and any significant changes in the patient’s status.

Arrhythmia management.
Services are available on an elective and acute basis for the evaluation and
treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. The available services include electrocardiograms,
holter monitoring, cardiac event recording and signal averaged electrocardiograms.
Cardiac electrophysiologic testing is performed at Hahnemann University Hospital.

Pacemakers.
In-patient and out-patient evaluation for potential pacemaker candidates is provided. Pacemaker implantation can be performed in the hospital. A comprehensive pacemaker clinic is provided in our office for pacemaker follow-up.
